Globys is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented Information Systems Security Professional to help support our suite of applications.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and staying on top of security threats facing the SaaS industry and understands what it takes to maintain a world-class security posture. In this highly visible position, you will undertake a wide range of responsibilities, as well as advise and implement the overall strategy for our company-wide security program. 

 

Globys is looking for a CISSP with a minimum of seven years of professional experience specializing in cybersecurity, vulnerability assessment, and risk management. The ideal candidate would have a significant hands-on history of leading a security practice at enterprise organizations, with deep expertise at identifying and mitigating potential security threats.

Primary Responsibilities 

 

  • Coordinate with the Business, Engineering and Security teams to develop and maintain IT security policies, architecture, and security across the organization 
  • Contribute to the definition, development, and oversight of a global security management strategy and framework across the organization 
  • Performing audits of security systems to maintain compliance with standards and protocols 
  • Manage the successful completion of external security audits (ISO 27001 and PCI) 
  • Coordinate static and dynamic application scanning and penetration tests against the Globys suite of products and systems. 
  • Catalog identified information security issues, and lead to the team to the right prioritization and response to known threats 
  • Perform threat modelling on services and drive the right conversation around assessing risk 
  • Manage incident response planning, and act as captain for certain incidents 
  • Work with 3rd party managed security services providers to develop improved system monitoring and correlation rules to improve overall security posture 
  • Act as Chair for the company-wide Risk Assessment Board 
  • Prepare responses to client RFIs or audits regarding Globys policies and security 

 

Qualifications 

 

  • Understanding of secure software development and system architecture methodologies. 
  • Demonstrated ability to foster effective collaboration across multiple technical teams and business stakeholders 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced development environment in an independent manner with strong self-direction and initiative 
  • Ability to collaborate across the organization to drive architectural changes throughout the product or environments as well as within a team structure 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer-centric attitude 
  • Familiarity with both on-premise and cloud based environments 
  • Minimum of seven years of professional experience specializing in cybersecurity 
  • Current CISSP required 
  • Experience working with a 24/7 production environment and with teams distributed globally is a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical or scientific field, or equivalent industry experience.
