Information Security Intern

Our Integrated B2B Portal Solution employs a unique approach by bringing together a carrier’s existing data systems to create an optimized portal experience designed and tailored specifically to the needs of the business user. We know the complexities of carriers and their end-user business customers and are industry-leading experts at tackling them head-on to transform the digital experience for both.

The Information Security team protects Globys’ customers and systems. We work with a myriad of tools and technologies across Globys’ systems and stack. You may be working with multiple third parties, as well as our operations team, to help automate responses to security attacks and threats.

This role is to be performed fully remotely

What You’ll Do:
Manage software that monitors systems and networks for vulnerabilities, security breaches, and intrusions.
Remediate issues highlighted by automated attack surface scans.
Assist with vulnerability patching.
Author detection rules and security policies.
Manage Digital Certificate inventory and issuance.
Perform primary triage of security events.
Keep up to date with industry-wide vulnerabilities and threats.
Manage project time and scope, prioritizing to meet deadlines.

What You Will Bring:
Currently enrolled, or have completed, an information security program, i.e. a rising Senior or at the end of a bootcamp program.
Demonstrated a track record of academic excellence and/or successful project delivery.
Knowledge of agile and project support tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Knowledge running vulnerability code scans.
Knowledge with alert and event triage and researching.
Interest in Kubernetes and GitOps.
Effective communication and writing skills.
Interest and ability to ramp into new technical domains
You’re eager to learn and improve your craft as a Security Engineer.
