Vice President of Operations
|
The Vice President of Operations reports to the President/CEO, is a key member of the executive team, oversees the delivery of Globys products and services, and helps define and implement corporate goals, objectives, and strategies.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee engineering, quality assurance, implementations, operations, customer service, and program management groups.
- Focus on successful deliveries and satisfied clients.
- Achieve revenue goals associated with completion of client implementations.
- Drive plan for ensuring that Globys is always capable of scaling to meet the needs of increasing numbers of clients, including the build-out of global hosting facilities and expanding the teams to support company growth.
- Provide leadership in support of transition from VeriSign to Globys, including the introduction of new products, new roles, and changes in the culture.
- Provide overall management direction including budgets, plans, team reviews, etc.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to managers within the team and help develop career growth paths for all team members.
- Provide senior point of communication for clients.
Qualifications and skills:
- Proven track record in software development and delivery.
- Experience running cross-functional teams and overseeing $10M+ P&Ls.
- Passion for hard work, teamwork, a high level of quality, and exceeding expectations.
- Excellent leadership and oral and written communication skills.
- Proven experience recruiting and developing top employee talent.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
- MBA preferred.
- Past experience with a large systems integration company working on multi-million dollar software projects a plus.
- Ability to exceed customer expectations.
- A track record of getting projects in on time and on budget.
