Senior Accountant
|
The senior accountant will be responsible for completing the accounting functions for Globys. This is a hands on position that requires an experienced accountant. The successful applicant will interact closely with both the controller and senior management and will have the opportunity to move into a supervisory role.
Responsibilities:
- Run or manage general accounting functions, such as, A/P, A/R, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Payroll and General Ledger
- Prepare financial reporting for internal and external users
- Assist and coordinate financial audits
- Function as a liaison between the company and external auditors
- Prepare monthly client billing statements
- Prepare local, state, and federal tax returns
- Other duties as assigned.
Need to have:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Proficiency with Excel and accounting software applications
- Emotional maturity, general business acumen, and ability to interact with individuals at all levels
Nice to have:
- Supervisory experience
- Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software
