GCI Deploys Globys’ Advanced Reporting and Analytics Tools for Business Markets

Seattle, WA – March 24, 2009 – Globys, a leading provider of online ebilling, reporting and analysis applications for the global telecommunications industry, announced today that GCI, a full-service telecommunications provider in Alaska, has deployed Globys Bill Analyst to provide advanced bill reporting and analytics to its large business customers.

Globys Bill Analyst, implemented under the brand name eBill, will provide GCI customers with critical business intelligence for a better understanding of their bills through detailed reports, charts, and graphs. In a secure, self-service environment customers can link numerous accounts, monitor usage, and distribute communications charges according to their specific organizational needs.

Following an evaluation process, GCI selected Globys Bill Analyst to help consolidate billing data from across multiple systems and services. Customers who utilize more than one GCI service (e.g., wireline, cable, wireless), will now be able to easily view consolidated bills and access service detail within a single reporting system.

“The depth and breadth of product functionality was a major factor in selecting Globys Bill Analyst as our enterprise reporting and analytics solution,” said Jim Dunlap, vice president of IT at GCI. “By using eBill, our customers can easily get to transactional details, access unlimited custom reports, conduct sophisticated analyses, and perform cost allocations with a few clicks. The flexibility and simplicity of the software helps GCI customers quickly access the information they need, when they need it, and this helps us increase overall customer satisfaction and reduce our call center load.”

Globys’ self-service solutions are designed exclusively for the telecommunications market and provide an advanced set of online e-billing, reporting and analytics solutions for both the enterprise and consumer market segments. Globys solutions have been widely adopted around the globe and have delivered positive ROI to clients based on strong customer adoption rates.

“We were pleased to be selected to provide GCI with a value added service that is proven to deliver large business customers with tangible benefit,” said Derek Edwards, Chief Executive Officer of Globys. “We take this as testament to our solution’s ability to help leading service providers retain high-value customers and achieve differentiation in a highly competitive market.”

Earlier this year, GCI deployed Globys’ Bill Payment Manager application to its consumer market to provide reliable and more convenient electronic billing capabilities. The launch supported GCI’s paperless billing strategy and ongoing effort to encourage adoption of online services. Subscribers utilize the solution to interact with their statements online, access detailed information in a consolidated view, and pay their bills electronically.

Globys’ bill analytics and e-billing solutions are designed to meet the needs of specific customer segments from consumer and SOHO to small and medium business, and large enterprise. The fact that Globys’ solutions are designed to scale according to customer segment yet built off of the same platform is a key reason why clients have selected Globys to meet their customer self-service needs.
